Born and raised in Venezuela, Aura discovered her passion for baking while in college. As conditions in her home country became more difficult, she moved to the United States in search of new opportunities to pursue her craft. In Orlando, that passion grew into Auri Sweets.
A wife and mother to two sons, Alejandro and Andres Arvelo, Aura runs the business herself. She makes every cake and dessert, giving each order her time, care, and attention to detail. Over the years, her work has grown from simple cakes to intricate wedding cakes, celebration cakes, and a wide variety of desserts.
Through her baking, she has become part of celebrations throughout the Orlando community. Customers visiting from other countries also reach out to arrange cakes for special occasions in Orlando and beyond. Whether it’s a small family gathering or a wedding, she brings the same personal care to every creation.
